Nefertiti Neck Lift

As we get older, we lose collagen and elastin in our body which can lead to the skin becoming wrinkled or saggy. A person’s neck is very susceptible to age and can become saggy and wrinkly with prominent muscular bands through the ageing process. This creates a jowlin effect in the lower face as there is a loss of muscle tone, skin elasticity and subcutaneous fat. There is also a gravitational pull on soft tissues of the face. The ‘Nefertiti’ Neck Lift was inspired by the Egyptian Queen Nefertiti and involves botulinum toxin injections. The injection of this toxin to the neck muscle (platysma) permits the opposing muscles to elevate the lower face which enhances the definition of the jawline and decreases the appearance of jowls. The prominent bands of muscles extending along the neck are softened.

One of our Face Hub doctors will inject anti-wrinkle injections into specific parts of this muscle to:

lessen lines around the lower area of the face
even out dimpled skin on the chin
remove or reduce folds or sagging on the lower face and neck
even out the symmetry of the lower face, jaw, and neck

Once you have had a consultation, one of our Face Hub practitioners will explain everything you need to know about the procedure. On the day of the treatment, you will be placed in a treatment room where we will make sure that your neck muscles are completely relaxed. Your Face Hub practitioner will then carefully inject anti-wrinkle injections into specific points in the lower jawline and down the neck. These injections will create a more defined jaw with symmetry and balance. The neck will look lifted and smooth without any sagging or wrinkled skin.

Once the treatment is complete the client will start to see the healed results after about 10 days. After two weeks we recommend coming back in to Face Hub for a check up to assess the results and see if there are any top up injections needed for optimum results.

Do not massage the neck and face where the procedure has been done for the first 24 hours
Avoid intense exercise for 5 days after treatment
Avoid exposure to sun or hot temperature
Do not drink alcohol for the first 2 to 3 days after treatment

Does the Nefertiti Neck Lift hurt?

Here at Face Hub Facial Aesthetics your doctor will first apply a topical numbing cream to the area to reduce the amount of pain during treatment. They will also use extremely fine needles to reduce any pain. There may be a little bit of discomfort but the procedure is very short so it will not be for too long.
