Face Hub’s Instant Customised Contour

Here at Face Hub Facial Aesthetics, we can create the perfect contour without the need for make-up. Customised facial contouring is when dermal filler is placed in multiple areas of the face to create a naturals contour to the face. The main areas which are targeted during this treatment are the cheeks, chin, and the jawline. As every face is different these areas can vary, and some people may add other areas of the face too. Face Hub’s customised contour is a non-surgical treatment which uses dermal filler to define your face and create a more contoured facial structure.

To create this contoured appearance, there will be small amounts of dermal filler injected with needles into the chosen areas. Usually, the highest area of the cheekbones will be targeted to lift the face and reduce sagging in that area. Building up your cheeks to create a more contoured look can be done in two parts. First, upper face shaping will be used to add a slight width to the cheekbones. Dermal filler will then be added to under the cheekbone to create a slimmer looking face. Dermal filler will also usually be placed along the jawline to create a stronger more defined jawline and reduce the appearance of a round face. In some cases, the jawline may not be chosen as some people may already have a strong jawline. Dermal fillers can be used to sculpt the chin to make the face look thinner and can even create the effect of weight loss around the face. Some people can have drooping around the chin even if they are at an ideal weight which is why dermal filler is a great option to create a defines chin.

At Face Hub Facial Aesthetics, you will have a consultation with one of our expert practitioners to discuss the goals you want to achieve and to assess if it is possible. A customised contour procedure takes around 30 minutes. Firstly, an anaesthetic gel will be applied for 15 minutes before the treatment begins. Dermal filler will then be injected into precise locations around the cheekbones and jaw area before being massaged to smoothen the material. Here at Face Hub Facial Aesthetics, we use Juvederm which is one of the best fillers on the market. You will have a mirror during the procedure to appreciate the results immediately.

Here at Face hub Facial Aesthetics, you will always have a consultation before your treatment to assess if you are a good candidate for this procedure. A good candidate for the facial contour procedure is a client who:

  • Has mild to moderate jowls or sagging. If they are severe, surgical contouring may be a better option.
  • Wants to increase the definition of the jawline.
  • Wants to create a more contoured appearance.
  • Would like their face to look slimmer.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does facial contouring last?

Every case is different depending on your skin and metabolism. Many patients will see results last from 6 to 18 months before they need to get a top up done again. It is a great option if you are sick of spending time everyday using creams and powders to try to contour your face.

Is customised contouring permanent?

No. Facial contouring is not permanent as over time your body will naturally start to break down the filler. Once the filler starts to dissolve you can get a top up so that the results stay the way you want them. The fact that it is temporary is also great if the patient does not like the results as they will eventually fade or they can be dissolved in office.

What product is used for facial contouring?

Here at Face Hub Facial Aesthetic our practitioners only use the best products possible. All of our filler is Juvederm which is one of the best fillers on the market for all types of facial aesthetic procedures.

Is there any anaesthesia required?

There is no general anaesthetic as the patient is awake and aware throughout the whole treatment. A topical anaesthetic cream will be placed on the area before treatment so that there is no pain or discomfort. Some fillers also contain lidocaine which will cause extra numbing so the patient will not experience any discomfort.
